Stove sizer
Too small and the room never warms up. Too big and you'll be opening windows. Tell us about your room for a rough guide, then we'll confirm it on a free home visit.
A common rule of thumb, not a quote. On a free home visit we look at your chimney, room and ventilation before recommending the right stove.
How we work
A small, personal business. We earn our living from installing, not from selling stoves.
A free consultation at your home, when it suits you. No sales pitch: just good advice, and brochures to look through in your own time.
We sheet the whole room in plastic, seal the carpets and even wrap the curtains, so no soot gets through. We leave it as clean as we found it.
Tell us when you'd like the job done. We work weekends and bank holidays, so you don't have to rearrange your week.
No shop front and no stock to sell, so we can be very competitive and pass on our trade prices.
No scaffold for most chimneys. With over seven years in tree surgery behind us, we've adapted our ladders and climbing equipment to reach over 90% of chimneys. Where scaffold is needed, our own scaffolders can give you a fair, sensible quote.

Services
We design, supply and install, from the most cost-effective solution to the most elaborate.
Wood burners and multi-fuel stoves, supplied, fitted and commissioned, with all makes and models.
Older, leaky chimney? A sealed stainless steel flexible liner gives you peace of mind.
An insulated twin wall flue lets us fit a wood burner almost anywhere in your home, up through the house or out through a wall.
Stack inspections with a written engineer's report, new pots, flaunching, flashing and lead trays.
Keep birds and rain out of your flue, and protect the lead tray that stops water reaching your walls.
For home buyers, sellers and installs without a HETAS certificate, so you can show the work is safe and legal.
Chimney check
Chimney stacks take far more from the weather and birds than we think. Tick anything you've noticed.
Nothing ticked
Look up and check yours today. Tick any signs on the left and we'll tell you what usually helps.
Stone surrounds
Bespoke fireplace surrounds carved from local stone, to your design. Add engravings, carvings and patterns: the choice is limited only by your imagination.
